Citizens of Russia normally require a visa to enter Saudi Arabia, but both countries recently signed a mutual visa-free agreement that will allow visa-free travel for up to 90 days per year for tourism, business, or family visits once fully implemented.
Until that regime officially comes into force, Russian travelers can still apply for a Saudi Arabia eVisa online before travel. The eVisa is valid for up to 1 year with multiple entries, and allows stays of up to 90 days per visit.
To apply, Russian travelers generally need a valid passport with at least 6 months validity, a recent passport-style photo, basic travel details, and a valid email address to receive the visa electronically. Once approved, the eVisa is emailed and must be presented with the passport at Saudi Arabia’s port of entry.
