We’re looking for a YouTube Producer to join our team in Los Angeles and help bring our comedy reaction-style videos to life for a channel with over 1 million subscribers (Cody & Ko). This role is perfect for someone who loves comedy & YouTube culture, understands what makes content clickable, and knows how to manage the creative process from idea to upload, and beyond.

Responsibilities

Video Production: Oversee the production of 2-4 comedy reaction-style YouTube videos per week (20-30 minutes each).

Creative Development: Generate and refine ideas, compile source material, and manage a team of writers who create concepts and outlines.

Team Management: Lead a group of video editors, ensuring edits move smoothly through drafts, revisions, and final delivery.

Packaging & Distribution: Work with thumbnail designers, titles, and metadata to ensure each video is optimized for audience engagement.

Optimization & Analysis: Run A/B tests on thumbnails, titles, and other packaging elements. Track and analyze performance data to identify what’s working, then iterate and implement improvements to maximize reach and retention.

Quality Control: Maintain the comedic voice, pacing, and polish of the channel while hitting upload deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven experience producing YouTube or digital-first video content.

Strong understanding of YouTube culture, trends, and best practices for growth.

Experience managing creative teams (writers, editors, designers).

Proficiency with YouTube Studio, analytics tools, and A/B testing platforms.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

A sharp comedic sensibility and an eye for what will resonate with audiences.

Nice to Have

Background in comedy writing, improv, or digital content development.

Familiarity with audience development, SEO for YouTube, and retention analytics.

Previous work in a high-output YouTube or digital studio environment.
